One of the most prolific defensive backs in Portland State history, Tracey Eaton helped lead the Vikings to their first NCAA Division II Championship game in 1987 while playing for head coach Pokey Allen. In 1987 as a senior, Tracey Eaton anchored the best defense in school history which only allowed 107 points in 11 games. During that season, Eaton led the Vikings with 11 pass breakups and four interceptions and was named defensive MVP. He still ranks fifth all-time in career interceptions at PSU with 13.Â
Eaton was drafted by the Houston Oilers of the National Football League and also played for the Atlanta Falcons.
