1984 VOLLEYBALL
The 1984 Viking Volleyball team was the first to win a National Championship in women’s athletics. The Vikings compiled a season record of 33-6, including a perfect 16-0 in the Mountain West Conference, and a 21-match winning streak. Hall of Fame Coaches Jeff and Marty Mozzochi had two first team All-Americans in Lynda Johnson and Lisa and a second team All-American in Theresa Huitinga. All three are individual members of the Viking Athletics Hall of Fame.
