FOOTBALL, 1979-1980
Clint Didier was one of the stars of Mouse Davis’s Run-and-Shoot offense, teaming with quarterback Neil Lomax. Didier was the team’s leading receiver with 1,091 yards and 12 touchdowns on 67 catches in 1980. That year, he helped lead PSU to an 8-3 record with record-setting wins of 105-0, 93-7 and 75-0. Despite playing only two seasons, he still ranks in the top 10 of Portland State’s all-time leading receivers (2,063 yards). Didier went on to play eight years in the NFL, earning two Super Bowl titles with the Washington Redskins.
