PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland State men's tennis has released its full 2026 dual match schedule, featuring 22 regular-season matches, including seven Big Sky matches and 15 non-conference contests.
The Vikings' 2026 slate is road-heavy, with 15 of their 22 matches scheduled away from home, including seven of the first nine. They will play seven home matches at the Tualatin Hills Tennis Center, including three against Big Sky opponents.
The Vikings' season opens with back-to-back trips to Eugene for duals against Oregon on Jan. 15 and 18., followed by a road match with crosstown rival Portland on Jan. 24. Head Coach Vetu Mam and his eight-man squad will then host George Fox for their home opener on Jan. 31 before heading to California to face UC Santa Cruz, Saint Mary's, and Santa Clara on Feb. 7-8.
Following a road trip to Washington on Feb. 14 and a home dual against Lewis-Clark State College on Feb. 21, the Vikings begin Big Sky play at home versus Montana State on Feb. 28. The team then travels to Arizona for a doubleheader at Grand Canyon (March 7) and a conference clash with Northern Arizona (March 8).
Six matches are slated for the second half of March, including home duals against Lewis & Clark (March 13 & 29) and Montana (March 15) at Tualatin Hills, as well as a road swing at Weber State, Utah State, and Idaho State (March 24-26). The season's final stretch features a home finale against Idaho on April 5, followed by road matches at Sacramento State and UC Davis on April 16-17.
The Big Sky Tennis Championship will take place April 23–25 at the Phoenix Tennis Center in Phoenix, Ariz. The top six teams in the conference standings at the conclusion of the regular season will qualify for the tournament.
