PORTLAND, Ore – The Portland State men's tennis team will continue its nine-match home stand this weekend with back-to-back duals at the Tualatin Hills Tennis Center. The Vikings will open the weekend against George Fox on Friday (2 p.m.), followed by a Saturday match against Pacific (10 a.m.).

PSU enters the weekend at 2-3 overall after winning two of its last three duals. The Vikings picked up their second sweep of the season on Friday, Feb. 3 against William Jessup.

Freshman
Gregory Gruenig leads PSU with a 3-2 singles record after going 3-1 at the No. 5 spot during the opening weeks of the season. Gruenig enters the weekend having won three of his last four matchups.

The Vikings are beginning to find their groove in doubles action, sitting at 6-6 on the year. Gruenig and
Jan Semerak are 2-1 at court one, earning wins over Lewis & Clark and William Jessup.
Simon Kuszynski and
Jonas Hembo Mathiasen have won two of their three matches, the last victory coming at No. 2 doubles against William Jessup's Sam Smith and Jordan Lenney.
