DAVIS, Calif. – The Portland State men's tennis team fell 4-0 to UC Davis on Friday at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.
The match concluded the 2026 season for the Vikings, finishing 6-15 overall. The Aggies improved to10-12 on the year.
UC Davis secured the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 before carrying that momentum into singles play. The Aggies then clinched the match with straight-set victories at No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6 singles.
With their loss at Sacramento State on Thursday, the Vikings were eliminated from contention for the 2026 Big Sky Tournament. They finished the season 2-5 in conference play, with wins over Montana State (Feb. 28) and Idaho (April 5).
