Box Score HONOLULU, Hawaii - The Portland State women's tennis team closed out its trip to Hawaii with a 4-0 win over the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
 
The win improves the Vikings to 7-9 overall while the Vulcans sit at 4-4.
 
Portland State earned the first point of the afternoon after picking up two wins in doubles action. Capu Sanoner and Makoto Ohara defeated their Vulcan opponents 6-1 a the No. 1 spot while Ashley Ramirez and Gerda Upeniece did the same on court three, earning a 6-3 victory to clinch the 1-0 lead.
 
The Vikings needed just three singles wins to secure the dual win and they did just that. Notching wins for the Vikings were Ohara on court three (6-1, 6-0), Emily Rees in the No. 4 spot (6-1, 6-4), and Upeniece at line six (6-1, 6-0). The remaining matches were declared unfinished as the Vikings cruised to a 4-0 win over the Vulcans.
