Tacoma, WA - The University of Washington ran away with the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, winning the tournament with a one-under par 863 at Tacoma Golf and Country Club. The Huskies closest pursuer was Washington State in a distant second at 897, 33-over par. 

Portland State placed eighth in the 13-team tournament. The Vikings shot 320 in Tuesday's final round as they were unable to maintain the pace of a Monday afternoon 298. PSU finished at 933 over the 54-hole tournament. 

Jing Yan of Washington defeated Charlotte Jaengkit of Grand Canyon on the first playoff hole. Both players tied at one-under par 215.

Freshman Hansol Koo led a Viking team that was missing its' number-one player this week, A Ram Choi. Koo tied for 12th in the 77-player field, shooting 78-71-77=226. Choi was unable to play this week as she was resting an injured wrist.

Senior Kelly Miller tied for 27th with 77-73-83=233. Junior Alyssa Waite tied for 40th at 79-77-82=238. Valentina Trillo, also a junior, shot 81-77-81=239 to tie for 43rd. Freshman Sonia Sanchez Fernandez tied for 54th posting 83-79-80=242.

• Portland State was third among five Big Sky Conference teams competing in the tournament. The Vikings are 15-3 in head-to-head scoring with Big Sky schools, 29-23-2 against all schools.
