Had another record setting season... 73.50 scoring average broke her own mark... won the Big Sky Conference individual title for the second straight year... named Big Sky Conference Player of the Year for the third straight year... shot 74-71-71=216 to win the Big Sky Championship, coming from five shots behind on the final day... shot 71-75-76=222 to tie for 11th at the Oregon State Invitational... placed second at the WSU Cougar Cup with a three-under par 73-68-72=213... was also second at the Rose City Collegiate with 73-73-71=217... named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week following both second-place finishes... shot 70-70 at the New Mexico State Invitational before withdrawing due to a wrist injury... tied for ninth at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic with 75-72-72=219... was selected as Big Sky Player of the Week... was BSC POTW 11 times in 31 career events... led the team in scoring seven times during the season... had 74 birdies and two eagles in 26 tournament rounds... shot par or better 12 times in 26 rounds... 82 of 91 career rounds are 78 or lower... holds the school record for career scoring average of 74.27.

Bettered her record-breaking sophomore season, winning two individual titles and four Big Sky Conference Golfer of the Week honors... won the Big Sky individual title with a five-under 70-74-67=211 in leading the Vikings to the team title... had seven top 10s on the season... broke her own school-record scoring average with a 74.25 mark... made 93 birdies in 576 holes... placed second at the Bronco Fall Classic with a one-over par 73-73-71=217... tied for 10th at the WSU Cougar Cup, posting 75-75-78=227... was named Big Sky Player of the Week both times... won the Prive’s Give ‘Em Five with a school-record eight-under par score of 68-73-67=208... led the Vikings to the team title as well with a school-record 867... was tenth at the Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational with 74-73-73=220... shot 78-69-72=219 to tie for 11th at the Mountain View Collegiate... posted 77-71-77=225 to tie for tenth at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic... has now shot five-under par 67 three times in her career to share the school record with Britney Yada... had a school-record eight under-par rounds for the season... led the team in scoring in 10 tournaments... over the summer won the Oregon Women’s Stroke Play Championship in a playoff, shooting 68-75=143, then birdieing the second extra hole.
2012-13 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
An outstanding first year at Portland State as she set a new school record for scoring average with 74.90... was named Big Sky Conference Player of the Year... earned an at-large berth in the NCAA West Regional... played in 11 tournaments and a total of 33 rounds... opened with a school-record tieing five-under par 67 in her first round at the OSU Invitational... ended up shooting 220 for the tournament and placed 12th... won the Rose City Collegiate individual title with a two-over par 72-72-74=218, becoming the first PSU medalist since Britney Yada won the 2011 Big Sky Championship... was named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week for that performance... placed second at the Folino Invitational with 75-72-72=219, earning Big Sky Player of the Week... shot 74-76-70 at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic, also earning Big Sky Player of the Week honors... shot 77-73-71=222 to place third at the Wyoming Cowgirl Invitational... that earned her fourth Big Sky Player of the Week award... finished fourth at the Big Sky Conference Championship, shooting her best tournament score of the year with 71-75-70=216... named to the All-Tournament team... shot 71-81-78=230 at the NCAA West Regional to tie for 77th... her 71 was the best-ever by a Viking in an NCAA Regional... led the team in scoring in six of 10 events... 30 of her 33 rounds were 78 or lower... posted five rounds under par and five rounds at par... made 83 birdies and two eagles in 594 holes... named Academic All-Big Sky Conference.
PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Placed sixth in the British Columbia Women’s Amateur in July 2012, finishing at two-under par with 67-73-75-71=286... then, she qualified for the LPGA Canadian Open in Surrey, BC in August of that year... shot 84-77 and missed the cut.
Played one season at Washington (2010-11) and was a redshirt in 2011-12... had a 79.09 scoring average as a freshman, playing in a team-high 12 events... best result was a tie for fifth at the Gonzaga Spring Invitational (36-hole score of 150)... shot a season low round of 70 at the Peg Barnard Invitational... best 54-hole score was 229 (+13) at the 2011 NCAA West Regional... third among the Huskies at the 2011 Pac-10 Championship (231) and NCAA West Regional.
Attended Fraser Heights Secondary School in Surrey, BC... was Most Valuable Player on her team... finished seventh in the Province in both her junior and senior seasons... won the BC Junior Girls Championship in 2009 and was second in 2010... also had three wins on the Northwest Junior Golf Tour... won the Inter-Provincial team competition at the Canadian Junior National Championship... honor roll student every term.

Daughter of Min Ja Choi and Do Hwan Choi... has one brother, James... Arts and Letters major... a member of her high school band, she plays seven different musical instruments; piano, violin, guitar, drums, trumpet, flute and saxophone... would like to become a professional golfer.
