Vikings Drop Dam Cup Finale

CHENEY, Wash.
  – Eastern Washington completed the Dam Cup sweep of Portland State with an 83-51 win Thursday night at Reese Court in Cheney, Wash.

Junior forward Allie Brock posted her first career double-double with 13 points tying her season-high and a career-high 13 rebounds. Brock went 6-for-10 from the field with a free throw on the night. Seven of her 13 rebounds came on the offensive glass.

The game was close early but a 14-0 run by Eastern Washington broke the game open and led 46-21 at the half. The Eagles led by as much as 41 points twice in the second half before winning the game 83-51.

EWU's Hayley Hodgins scored a career-high 24 points to lead the Eagles. They had three other players in double-figures.

The Vikings now head to Grand Forks, N.D. for a critical Saturday game against North Dakota.
