SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The Portland State women's soccer team fell to the University of San Francisco Friday night at Negoesco Stadium.
San Francisco (3-5-0 overall) got on the board in the 32nd minute with a header goal by Christina Moberg in the box to take the 1-0 advantage.
The Dons took the 1-0 lead into the half and then added a second goal in the 53rd minute to push their advantage to 2-0.
Portland State (4-5-0) was narrowly out-shot in the game by a mark of 10-to-9 but was unable to capitalize on a shot and get on the board. The Vikings played down a player for the final 12 minutes of the match after
Ariel Snyder received a red card less than a minute after she received a yellow card.

Laura Schott served a one game suspension Friday night after receiving a red card in the team's previous match.
The Vikings are back in action on Sunday when they take on San Jose State at 1 p.m. at Spartan Stadium in San Jose, Calif.
