Tre-Vaughn Minott Signs Professional Contract to Play In Lithuania

Two-time Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Year Tre-Vaughn Minott has signed a professional contract to play for Siauliai Basketball Club in Lithuania for the remainder of the season.

Minott, a 6-10 center from Montreal, recently completed his career at Portland State as one of the top rebounders, shot-blockers and defenders in school history. He was a key part of the Vikings' 2025-26 regular season champion team. Minott averaged 9.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and shot .656 from the field. He earned Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year for a second time and was named second team All-Big Sky Conference.

Siauliai is currently in fourth place at 15-12 with seven games remaining in the regular season of the Lithuanian league.

(Translated) "The season is approaching its climax, and we are preparing for its intense finish - in the decisive section we will have to play several games a week," said Šiauliai sports director Ginas Rutkauskas about the addition. "We want to protect ourselves from unforeseen injuries and at the same time strengthen our strength behind the basket. Tre-Vaughn is a defense-oriented basketball player - that's where we expect his greatest contribution."
