Portland State will compete in the Jackrabbits Invitational hosted by South Dakota State next week in Boulder City, NV. The Vikings and nine other teams will play a 54-hole event at the Boulder Creek Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.
 
The tournament will be the third of the spring for the Vikings. PSU is working toward the Big Sky Conference Championship tournament, Apr. 20-22, in Litchfield, AZ.
 
Cynthia Valerie Ong has led the Vikings in scoring in each of the two spring tournaments so far. Ong shot 227 at the Bowling Green Intercollegiate and 231 at the Fresno State Spring Classic. She leads the team with a 75.72 scoring average through six events this season.
 
With most of the competitors from the Midwest, this will be the first and only tournament of the 2025-26 season that does not include another Big Sky Conference school.
