Portland State will take on its third out of four straight weeks of Pacific Northwest competition at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational in Tacoma. The Vikings play in the 54-hole event, hosted by Seattle, next Monday and Tuesday at Tacoma Country and Golf Club.
 
PSU has played in Bozeman and Spokane the past two weeks, then plays in Missoula in the final event of the fall on Oct. 6-7.
 
Through two events, sophomore Maddie Dustin has led the Vikings with a 74.50 scoring average. She was the team's leading scorer at both the Yellowstone Intercollegiate and the Kalispel Invitational. Junior Cynthia Valerie Ong has the second-lowest scoring average at 75.17.
 
All seven Vikings have competed in the first two weeks. PSU will have five starters and one individual playing next week.
 
The Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational has been a regular feature on the Vikings' fall schedule. It will feature a strong field of 15 teams, including five from the Big Sky Conference.
