Spokane, WA – The Portland State Vikings closed out the Kalispel Invitational with a final-round team total of 304 at Kalispel Golf and Country Club. The Vikings placed 12
th among 14 teams at 314-298-304=916. Santa Clara came away with the team win, with a comfortable 10-stroke advantage over Gonzaga, shooting a four-over par 295-284-289=868.

For the second tournament in a row,
Maddie Dustin paced the Vikings in scoring. The sophomore from Salem came in with 77-74-75=226 and tied for 29
th. Dustin had a team-high seven birdies.

The Vikings got Tuesday's best round from freshman
Francesca Tomp, who posted a two-over par 74. Tomp made a triple bogey on her first hole of the day, then played the remaining 17 holes in one-under par. Tomp tied for 53
rd overall among 83 players. She and teammates
Caithlyn Ong, also a freshman, and senior
Bayler Brundage, all recorded 234 over three rounds.

Cynthia Valerie Ong had the best round of the tournament by the Vikings with a 73 on Monday afternoon. Her 77-73-79=229 total was good for a tie for 41
st.

Grace Lee of Gonzaga won the individual title, leading wire-to-wire, for a six-under par 67-71-72=210 total. Coming in second place was Kelsey Kim of Santa Clara at four-under par 72-70-70=212.
