TAP-INS
- Tannica Porter's 148 total ties for 10th-best score by a Viking in a 36-hole event in PSU history.
- The tournament was shortened to 36 holes after an illegal pin placement wiped out the opening round on Sunday morning.
- Portland State's next tournament is the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, hosted by Seattle, in Tacoma, WA on Sept. 30-Oct. 1. The Vikings will host their own Portland State Invitational on Oct. 14-15 at Columbia Edgewater Country Club.
- The Vikings' team total of 303 was particularly good as they were down a player and competing with just four. Cynthia Valerie Ong missed the tournament with a minor back injury while newcomer Avery Kageyama was not yet ready to compete. Both players should be available to play at next week's Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational.
