JUNIOR SEASON • 2024-25

Competed in all nine events... ranked second on the team with a 77.09 scoring average... twice led the team in scoring... had a 74.16 scoring average over the final two tournaments... shot a 54-hole best of 81-76-73=230 at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational... had a career-best tournament at the Bobcat Desert Classic with 69-76-73=218 to place 11th... only Viking to break 70 during the season in her career-best round... shot a steady 75-76-76=227 at the Big Sky Championship, tying for 32nd... holed an eagle chip on her final hole of the season... 16 of 22 rounds in the 60s and 70s... made 41 birdies and one eagle in 25 total rounds... ranks 15th all-time in scoring average at PSU (77.85)... ranks 12th all-time in birdies with 106 and 22nd in career rounds played (72)... a member of the Dean's List for academics... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference and Academic All-District.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2023-24

Played in seven events, missing one due to illness... had a 77.00 scoring average to rank third on the team... had a 2.16 stroke per round improvement over her freshman season... led the team in scoring at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational with 80-74-75=229... shot 72-76-80=228 at the Eagle Invitational... best score of the season was a 80-73-74=227 at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic where she again led the team in scoring... had eight rounds of 75 or better, 11 of 17 rounds in the 70s... made 39 birdies and one eagle in 20 total rounds... earned CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors.

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2022-23

Started all nine events, playing 24 rounds and compiling a 79.16 scoring average... ranked fourth on the team in scoring... saved her best for the Big Sky Championship, tying for 13th and leading the team... shot 77-74-70=221 for personal-best single round and tournament scores... best fall tournament was the Eagle Invitational where she shot 82-77-74=233 and tied for 35th... 13 of 24 scoring rounds were in the 70s... made 26 birdies and an eagle in 27 rounds... named Academic All-Big Sky Conference.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE

Lettered in golf at Baldwin High School... named first team Maui Interscholastic League as a senior... team MVP... Baldwin won the MIL championship.... team was third in the Hawai’i High School state championship... placed 18th in state with 74-75=149... a member of the Hawai’i Junior Golf Association Mary Cave Cup Team... in 2021 was HSJGA Match Play Runner-Up, HSJGA Tournament of Champions Runner-Up and Maui Junior Golf Association Stroke Play Champion... school Valedictorian, academic honor grad and KCC-JEE High School Essay contest winner.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Daughter of Wesley and Kara Shimizu... has two sisters, Tayler and Kaylee... majoring in Computer Science... hobbies are reading, painting, Internet Club, 4-H and Educator’s Rising Club.
