Vikings play Wildcats to 0-0 Draw

OGDEN, Utah - After suffering its first conference loss on Friday, the Portland State women's soccer team was looking for a bounce-back win on Sunday but was unable to get it in a 0-0 draw against Weber State.

The Vikings moved to 7-6-2 on the year and 4-1-2 in conference play, while the Wildcats improved to 0-9-5 and 0-3-4 in Big Sky action.

The 0-0 draw was the Vikings' second of the season. Their offense was held to a season-low five shots, attempting two in the first half and three in the second. The Vikings saw their best opportunities of the day come on three corner kicks, but were unable to capitalize.

Abi Hoffman recorded a team-high two shots for Portland State. Eden Millan notched her second shutout of the season in goal, recording two saves in the tie.

The Vikings currently sit second in the conference standings. They will travel to Montana on Sunday, Oct. 22 to take on the first-place Griz in the regular season finale.
