Vikings Drop Non-Conference Match to Pacific

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Portland State women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision on Thursday at the University of Pacific (Calif.).

The Vikings fell to 7-9 overall while the Tigers improved to 8-5. 

Pacific claimed the doubles point, despite a 7-6 (7) win from Nika Beukers and Makoto Ohara at the No. 2 spot. 

The Tigers added to their lead in singles play, securing wins at the one, two, and six spots to clinch the match. Emily Rees, Mariajose Hernandez Coronado, and Ohara had their matches go unfinished. 

On Sunday, Portland State will face Sacramento State in its sixth Big Sky dual of the season at 11 a.m.
