FARMINGTON, Utah — The next three Portland State women's basketball games have been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the Portland State program.
Â
The Vikings had been scheduled to host league-leading Montana State Thursday, then host Montana Saturday before heading out on the road for a game at Idaho Monday. The new dates for those games are now:
Â
- Saturday, Feb. 19 vs. Montana, 2 p.m.
- Monday, Feb. 21 vs. Montana State, 6 p.m.
- Monday, Feb. 28 at Idaho, TBA
Â
All tickets purchased for the Vikings' home games against Montana and Montana State will be valid for the rescheduled date. To exchange tickets for a different game, or for further ticket questions, please contactÂ
Jon Jensen at 503-725-6571 orÂ
jonjensen@pdx.edu.
The Alumni event originally scheduled during the Montana game has been rescheduled for Friday, March 4 at 5 p.m.
Â
The changes mean the Vikings aren't scheduled to play again until next Thursday, Feb. 17, when they play at Northern Arizona. That means the Vikings will have 10 days off of competition after playing 10 games in a span of 24 days from Jan. 15 to Feb. 7. The rescheduled dates mean the Vikings will close the regular season with eight games in a span of 16 days from Feb. 17 to March 4, however.
