Lakewood, WA – Portland State finished 18
th at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational, maintaining its position from day one in the 21-team event.
Gonzaga won the team title with 291-289-292=872 at Tacoma Country and Golf Club. That broke a tie with Weber State after day one as the Wildcats finished second by one stroke at 297-283-293=873.
Portland State shot 308-305-314=927 over the two-day, 54-hole event.
Victoria Gailey of Nevada won the individual title in a playoff. She had finished in a three-way tie with Hannah Loh of California Baptist and Davina Xanh of Cal State Fullerton at three-under par 213.
Tya Seth was the top finisher for Portland State. She shot a final-round two-over par 74 – her best of the three-round tournament. Seth, a senior, shot 78-75-74=227 and tied for 50
th among 115 golfers.
Sophomore
Tannica Porter and junior
Mariana Garcia Rosette each posted 231 for the event. Porter came in with 75-78-78=231 while Garcia Rosette posted 75-75-81=231. They tied for 70
th.
Freshman
Bayler Brundage shot 243 overall. Freshman
Payten Shimizu and sophomore
Mari Nakamura each posted 244 over three rounds.
