Kapolei, HI – Portland State completed the Rainbow Wahine Invitational in 11th place after shooting its best round of the week on Wednesday at Kapolei Golf Course. The Vikings finished the 54-hole tournament at 312-308-300=920.

Colorado State won the team title with seven-under par 282-293-282=857. Cassie Kim of Gonzaga and Sofia Torres of Colorado State tied for the individual title with five-under par 211.Â

Senior Tya Seth posted an even-par round of 72 to lead the Vikings in round three. She moved up seven more spots on the leaderboard and ended the tournament in 22nd place. Seth had been 44th after round one.

Sophomore Tannica Porter was the top finisher overall for the Vikings with 73-72-74=219, tying for 15th. It marked her best tournament as a Viking as she also matched her single-round best score of 72 on Tuesday. Â

Payten Shimizu and Mariana Garcia Rosette each shot counting 77s on Wednesday to add to the team score. Shimizu, a freshman, finished tied for 58th among 78 players with a 235 total. Garcia Rosette had a 251 total and tied for 73rd.Â

Sophomore Mari Nakamura, playing as an individual, shot 81 on Wednesday and 243 total to place 71st. Freshman Bayler Brundage shot 252 over three rounds.Â
