The Big Sky Conference has released the 2021-22 women's basketball league. Big Sky play will return to normal with the home-and-home, 20-game round robin format.
The opening weekend will be in early December and the Vikings will open at home. PSU hosts Idaho State on Dec. 2, followed by Weber State on Dec. 4. After three weeks of non-conference play, the Big Sky schedule will resume.
Other home dates include Southern Utah (Jan. 6), Sacramento State (Jan. 15), Northern Arizona (Jan. 29), Northern Colorado (Feb. 3), Montana State (Feb. 10), Montana (Feb. 12), Idaho Mar. 2) and Eastern Washington (Mar. 4).
Portland State will have one game each on a Monday, a Wednesday, and a Friday at home. There are three Thursday games and four Saturday games at home. At this time, PSU anticipates games will be open for full fan attendance.
Once again, the Big Sky Conference Championship Tournament will take place in Boise, ID at Idaho Central Arena.
A complete PSU basketball schedule including non-conference games will be released later this summer. ??This season, all Big Sky Conference games will be live streamed on ESPN+.??
