Ogden, UT
- Portland State ran into a buzzsaw at Dee Events Center as a fired-up Weber State team won its 10th game in a row and 23rd of the season, 80-52, over the Vikings.

Davion Berry led the Wildcats (23-5, 17-2) with 19 points, while Scott Bamforth (13 points, 12 rebounds) and Joel Bolomboy (10 points, 11 rebounds) each had double-doubles.

Renado Parker scored a team-high 13 points for Portland State (8-19, 5-14). Aaron Moore added 11 points and five rebounds. It was PSU's third straight loss and largest deficit of the season.

Weber State hit four three-point field goals in the opening moments of the game to lead 12-0 and it didn't get much better for the Vikings after that.

PSU could not create any kind of offensive flow and never got itself back into the game. The Vikings trailed 41-13 at halftime as they had their lowest scoring half of the season. PSU made only 6-33 shots in the first half for a .182 mark, including 0-7 from three-point range. Meanwhile the Wildcats hit 14-25 shots for .560, and made 5-8 three-pointers.

It certainly didn't help that the Vikings were without senior guard Michael Harthun, who injured his knee in practice earlier in the week. Harthun had averaged 16.6 points over the last five games while shooting 66% from the field over that span.

The Vikings came out competitive in the second half, hitting 12 of their first 17 shots. They closed the deficit to 17 at 58-41 with nine minutes to play. But, the Wildcats went on a 13-2 run over the next four minutes to confirm their dominance.

PSU finished 16-27 from the field in the half and 22-60 for the game (.367). The Vikings hit 2-10 from three-point range and 6-12 at the free throw line.

Weber State was 29-52 from the field (.558), hitting 8-16 threes and 14-19 at the line (.737). The Wildcats dominated the glass as well, out-rebounding Portland State, 44-23.
