PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland State Athletics will host a meet and greet for new head women's basketball coach Karlie Burris Tuesday, April 15, from 12-1 p.m. The event will take place in the athletics lobby within the main entrance to Viking Pavilion. It will be open to the media and public.
 
Light snacks will be provided for attending media and fans. Athletic Director Matt Billings will open the event with remarks before Burris introduces herself.
 
Burris was announced as the Vikings' new head coach last week. She comes to the Vikings after a highly successful four-year stretch as an assistant coach at UNLV from 2021-25. The Lady Rebels won four Mountain West Conference regular-season titles, three Mountain West Conference tournament titles, and recorded back-to-back 30-win seasons during Burris' tenure at the school.
