FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Tori Forst and Dieumerci Migani scored for the Vikings as the Portland State track & field program wrapped up the Big Sky Indoor Championships Saturday at the J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome.
 
Forst, who had advanced to the finals of the women's 60 meters a day earlier, finished eighth in the finals of the event in 7.62 seconds. That would have marked a new personal best for Forst by a tenth of a second if not for her time of 7.54 seconds in Friday's prelims. Forst leaves the Big Sky meet ranked tied for seventh all-time now in the women's 60 meters.
 
Migani, meanwhile, scored for the second straight day, following up his fifth-place finish in the long jump Friday with an eighth-place finish in the triple jump Saturday. Migani jumped 44-09.50 (13.65m) on his opening attempt of the day. He fouled on his next jump, then passed on his final four attempts.
 
Edward Niyongere finished right behind Migani at ninth with a best mark of 44-07.50 (13.60m).
 
The Big Sky Indoor Championships conclude the indoor track & field season for the Vikings. They'll turn their attention to the outdoor season next week at the Lewis & Clark Collegiate Opener on March 8.
