PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland State women's soccer team released its full 2023 schedule on Monday, a 16-match regular season that begins with eight non-conference contests. Nine of the Vikings' matches will take place on their home field at Hillsboro Stadium. 

Following a pair of home exhibition matches against British Columbia (Aug 10) and Bellevue College (Aug 12), the Vikings will host New Mexico State on Thursday, Aug 17 in their season opener. Four consecutive home matches against Seattle (Aug 20), St. Thomas (Aug 25), Pacific (Aug 27) and Iowa State (Sept 7) will follow.

Portland State will hit the road for the first time on Sept. 10 to face Utah Tech in St. George, Utah. They'll close out their travel with matches at UC Riverside (Sept. 15) and CSUN (Sept. 17).

Big Sky action will open with back-to-back home matches for the Vikings, beginning with Northern Colorado on Sept 22. Following a home contest against Northern Arizona on Sept. 24,  PSU will head to Sacramento State for a weekend matchup on Sunday, Oct. 1.

Closing out their home schedule, the Vikings will return to Hillsboro Stadium for the final time to host Idaho (Oct 6) and Eastern Washington (Oct 8). They'll cap their regular slate on the road against Idaho State (Oct 13), Weber State (Oct 15) and Montana (Oct 22).  

Portland State will look for its second consecutive appearance in the Big Sky Championship Tournament in 2023. The top six Big Sky teams at the end of the regular season will qualify for the single-elimination tournament held in Flagstaff, Ariz. on the campus of the defending Big Sky Champion, Northern Arizona (Nov. 1-5).
