Portland State student-athletes took advantage of their return to campus full-time this past fall. In addition to such highlights as a 20-win volleyball season, the highest cross country finishes ever in the Big Sky Conference, Katie Camarena's trip to the NCAA Cross Country National Championship, and a road win over defending Big Sky Football Champion and 24
th-ranked Weber State, the Vikings had a brilliant performance in the classroom.

PSU's overall GPA for the fall was 3.19 among 265 student-athletes. The average team GPA was 3.41. The cumulative GPA for all student-athletes is 3.33, with the average cumulative team GPA at 3.53.

Thirty-eight student-athletes earned a 4.0 GPA for the term, while 19 maintain a 4.0 cumulative GPA during their PSU careers.

The Portland State women's tennis team compiled a 3.83 GPA and was followed closely by the cross country and track teams at a 3.74 GPA.

Although Portland State will not release honors until just after the first of the year, the athletics program anticipates 34 members named to the Dean's List and 22 members named to the President's List.
