For the first time in Portland State history, PSU cheer has qualified to compete the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) national collegiate championship! 

The NCA Nationals will take place in Daytona Beach, FL on April 10-12.  College cheerleading and dance teams from across the country are heading to the beach to compete for a coveted NCA or NDA National Title!

The NCA National competition is one of the biggest collegiate championships in the world, and PSU cheer will be the only University in Oregon to have a cheer team represented nationally.  In the Pacific Northwest, PSU will join only Washington State University and University of Washington as universities with nationally competitive cheerleading teams.

Cheerleaders fundraising $20,000 for NCA Nationals
The Portland State cheer team is very excited to announce that they will be traveling to Daytona Beach, FL for the NCA collegiate national cheerleading championship!

PSU will be the only university in Oregon and 1 of only 3 universities to have a cheerleading team competing in national competition!

Unfortunately, this is a huge expense, and they need your help raising money!

The cheer team has a number of fundraisers, and appreciate any help that the Viking fans are willing to contribute.  See the list below for times and dates of fundraisers.

Ages 21+ come enjoy the Trailblazers game and specials at Cheerful Tortoise on campus!  Donations at the door will go toward the PSU nationals trip!

Viking Stunt Clinic
Come stunt with the PSU Viking cheerleaders!  For just $20 ($30 on the day of), come get 4 hours of stunt instruction.  Whether you're a beginner or advanced stunter, we'll have a class for you!
