PALO ALTO, Calif. – Zach Carpenter and Amber Rozcicha pace the Vikings at the 38th Running of the Stanford Cross Country Invitational Saturday at in Palo Alto, Calif.

Sophomore Carpenter was the top-finisher for the Vikings Saturday with a time of 25:25 and finished 61st overall in the 8,000-meter race. William Ferguson and Cary Dunagan finished with times of 26:23 and 26:27 respectively.

Rozcicha recorded the top time on the women's side for the Vikings with a time of 22:20 to finish 43th overall. The men finished 24th overall as a team while the women finished 28th.

The Vikings are back in action next Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Bill Dellinger Invitational in Eugene, Ore.
