Portland State student-athletes continue to excel on and off the playing fields and the program grade reports for the 2025-26 academic year prove that out once again. PSU student-athletes, 270 in total, have set an academic year record with a combined grade point average of 3.44.
 
In both the winter and spring terms, Viking student-athletes had combined GPAs of 3.45, setting a record (twice) for a single term as well.
 
Other highlights from PSU's academic year include:

• 68 student-athletes earned perfect 4.0 GPAs for spring term
• The women's golf team led the way with a 3.95 GPA for the term and 3.90 GPA for the year.
• For the third consecutive year, every team had a GPA 3.0 or higher, and in fact, every team was above a 3.25 GPA for the year.
• There have been a total of 167 Academic All-Big Sky Conference honorees over the 2025-26 academic year (letterwinners with a 3.20 GPA or higher).
• Some 50 student-athletes have graduated during the 2025-26 academic year, with more on schedule to graduate this summer.
