The first-place Portland State Vikings take on the second- and third-place teams at home this week in the most important week of the season at Viking Pavilion. PSU is out to its best start in Big Sky Conference play in school history at 7-0. The Vikings will try to extend that mark and have a chance for the longest Big Sky home winning streak in school history on Thursday night. PSU has won 15 straight Big Sky home games, matching the school record. Number 16 would set a new mark. Most important though, the Vikings need wins to maintain their position in first place.
