The 2023-24 Portland State Men's Basketball season is starting to come into focus as the Big Sky Conference released the league schedule for the coming season today.
The Vikings will open the conference schedule on the road on Dec. 28 at Eastern Washington. The Vikings will play 18 league games in a double-round-robin format, wrapping up on Mar. 4 at home against Idaho. The Big Sky Conference Tournament is Mar. 9-13 in Boise, ID and Idaho Central Arena.
Previously announced non-conference games for PSU include The Lancer Joust Tournament on Nov. 17-19 in Riverside, CA. The Vikings will take on California Baptist, Cal Poly and St. Thomas. The Big Sky and Summit League have also announced the Big Sky-Summit Challenge, which takes place Jan. 3 and 6 with two games for each team against the opposing league. PSU was scheduled to face Western Illinois and Kansas City. However, Western Illinois has announced its intention to leave the Summit League. A replacement game has yet to be announced.
