FARMINGTON, Utah – Portland State softball's Trinity Holden has been named the Big Sky Player of the Week after her performance against Saint Martin's last week, the conference announced on Monday.
Holden, a freshman out of Lebanon, Ore. helped lead the Vikings to a pair of home-opening wins over the Saints on Thursday, March 23.
Holden hit a home run in both of Portland State's wins. She led the team with five RBI, four of those coming in the Vikings' 11-2 victory in the nightcap. Her second home run of the day sealed the mercy rule win in game two in the top of the sixth.Â
