Portland State Athletics has set its football promotions schedule for the 2022 season and is implementing a new pre-game party called Vik Fest at Hillsboro Stadium.
 

VIK FEST  

Open from 12:30 - 2:00 pm on game day, Vik Fest is the official pre-game party hosted by Portland State Athletics. Located inside Hillsboro Stadium, fans can enjoy full-service catering with tailgate fare; a separate cash bar is available with popular beer and wine options for fans to enjoy. Fans can watch college football games from across the country with two big-screen televisions under the fully-covered tent and play popular tailgate games. Exclusive Vikings giveaways will be available, as well as visits from the Vikings Dance and Cheer teams and Victor E. Viking. 
 
Vik Fest is included in all Season ticket packages. Non-season ticket holders cost is $20 per person and a game ticket. 
 

VIKING RAID PRESENTED BY UNIVERSITY POINTE AT COLLEGE STATION

For each game, fans can enjoy carnival-like games on the east side of the field beginning 90 minutes before kickoff until halftime. A football toss and inflatable axe throwing will be regular staples, but each game will have additional entertainment options for fans to enjoy
 

STUDENTS 

PSU students get free admission to football games at Hillsboro Stadium with their PSUID. They can enjoy free carnival-like games at the Viking Raid and will receive a free concessions voucher to use within the stadium and exclusive Vikings giveaways. If students need a ride from campus, Portland State Athletics will provide free buses to and from Hillsboro Stadium each game. 
 

ULTIMATE FAN OF THE GAME 

Vikings Athletics will award $1000 in cash to the Ultimate Fans of the Game on behalf of PSU President Dr. Stephen Percy. Fans are encouraged to wear PSU gear, bring signs, and cheer on the Vikings for a chance to win!
 

TRANSPORTATION 

Fans who want to take the Max Train to the game can take a complimentary shuttle from the Orenco Station stop to Hillsboro Stadium for select games.
 

GAME DAY PROMOTIONS

 

OCT 1 VS. NAU - HOMECOMING

The festivities will kick off before the matchup against NAU with carnival games, Ink Bus Tattoos, and the chance for fans to dunk PSU President Stephen Percy in a dunk tank!
The first 500 fans will receive a free magnetic schedule card; students have the chance to snag a free #DefendTheShip t-shirt.

OCT 8 VS. LINCOLN - FAMILY DAY PRESENTED BY LES SCHWAB

Vikings Football is fun for the whole family! During Family Day, head to Hillsboro Stadium to enjoy a bounce house, rock climbing wall, and carnival games. Face painters and balloon artists will bring out the inner kid in all of us.

Fans should come early; kids can receive a free youth t-shirt before the game, giving them free admission to ANY home Vikings athletic competition for the 2022-23 seasons. Fans have the chance to snag a complimentary WHITE OUT Rally Towel (while supplies last).

OCT 15 VS. WEBER STATE - VIKTOBERFEST

The first 1,000 fans will receive a complimentary Barny's Beer Stein mug and FREE Pretzels courtesy of PSU President Stephen Percy. Students will also receive a PSU pom-pom to cheer on the Vikings from The Ship!

Fans can come before the game for carnival games and a chance to get a caricature drawn of themselves in lederhosen and a photo with Victor!

NOV 5 VS. NORTHERN COLORADO - SALUTE TO SERVICE

Portland State Athletics will honor those who serve our country with a special Salute to Service game. Fans will have a unique opportunity to show their thanks and receive a free Vikings camo keychain.
During the game, fans can get their photo taken with therapy alpacas from Classy Camelids; they often work with veteran's groups to help mitigate the symptoms of PTSD and memory loss.
Carnival games and fan activities will also be available on the field before the game!

NOV 11 VS. SACRAMENTO STATE - SENIOR NIGHT

The last home game of the season is a special night game where we will honor our senior Vikings playing in their final game at Hillsboro Stadium with a memorable pre-game ceremony.
Fans can enjoy carnival games on the field, and we will give away an exclusive Rose City Viks hat to the first 300 fans.
