The
Chris Fisk Era of Portland State Football begins on Tuesday, April 7 with the Vikings' first spring practice.
Â
Just over 70 players will be available to compete in the spring, including some 25 newcomers. PSU is scheduled to bring in an additional 25 freshmen when fall practice opens in late July.
Â
During the spring, the Vikings will practice every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for five weeks. The majority of practices are scheduled for the morning at Stott Community Field. The Vikings will have a scrimmage at Kiggins Bowl in Vancouver on May 2, then host the annual Spring Game on Friday, May 8 at 6 p.m. at Hillsboro Stadium.
Â
Fisk, the Vikings first-year Head Coach, was hired last December. He has a brand new coaching staff also in their first year.
