EUGENE, Ore. - The Portland State men's tennis team fell 6-0 in a non-conference dual with the University of Oregon on Friday evening.
The Vikings dropped to 3-9 overall while the Ducks improved to 10-8 on the year.
The teams forwent the doubles portion of the match, jumping straight into singles play.
Tommy Hsu gave the Vikings their best shot of the night, taking six games from Ivalio Keremedchiev at the No. 2 spot, before eventually falling 6-3, 6-3.
Otto Holtari at No. 5 and
Nils Plutat at No. 1, both battled during their second sets, taking three games before both falling 6-0, 6-3.
The Ducks clinched all six matches to secure the 6-0 victory.
Portland State will return to Big Sky action on Friday, April 8 when they travel to Pocatello, Idaho to take on Idaho State (1 p.m. PT).
