PORTLAND, Ore. – Race…those…babies! The Portland State athletic department invites all parents of crawling infants to register for The Baby Race, presented by The Barbers, at the Portland State women's basketball game against Sacramento State on Saturday, Dec. 31.
 
The inaugural champion of The Baby Race, presented by The Barbers, will receive a trophy and Viking prize pack, as well as bragging rights for life. Parents are welcome to cheer on their little ones for the race at halftime, while enjoying the game at Viking Pavilion. All selected entrants will receive two complimentary tickets as well as the opportunity to buy discounted tickets for additional guests.
 
Those interested must fill out the entry form linked below. All entries must be in by the end of the day on Dec. 22 at 4 p.m. Babies must be developmentally still crawling primarily and cannot be older than 18 months at the time of the game. A maximum of six participants will be chosen.
