SAN FRANCISCO – The Portland State women's soccer team couldn't find the net on Sunday afternoon as they fell to the University of San Francisco 3-0.
The Vikings dropped to 2-4-0 on the year while the Dons improved to 3-2-1.

Raniyah Burton gave the Vikings one of their best looks of the day just seven minutes into action. The sophomore put her shot on target but was unable to squeeze it past USF goalkeeper Molly Eby.

Sidney O'billovich deflected three shots on goal from the Dons in the opening 18 minutes of action.
After San Francisco scored its first goal in the 26th minute, they held a 1-0 lead until halftime. The Dons found the net twice in a five-minute span during the second half, the first coming in the 53rd minute. Holding a 2-0 advantage, USF's Sydney Cooper capitalized on a penalty kick opportunity in the 58th minute to extend the lead to three. Â
The PSU defense buckled down in the remaining 30 minutes, holding the Dons shotless.
Abi Hoffman recorded the lone shot attempt by the Vikings in the final minutes of the match, doing so in the 84th minute.Â
O'billovich ended the day with five saves, clocking her first full game in goal for the Vikings. PSU put four of its five shots on goal, two of those coming off the foot of
Megan Cornett. The Dons finished with 15 shots, tallying 13 of those in the first half.
The Vikings will be back in action next Sunday when they host Oregon in the final non-conference matchup of the season at Hillsboro Stadium (1 PM).
