MONMOUTH, Ore. — Three events in three hours didn't seem to phase
Jordan Gloden as the junior dominated the Vikings' presence at the John Knight Twilight meet Saturday.
Â
Gloden opened his day in the long jump, recording a best jump of 21-00.75 (6.42m) on his first attempt of the day. Gloden then followed with a time of 15.20 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles, setting a new seasonal best by .15 seconds. Gloden closed his day in the 400-meter hurdles, dipping under a minute again while finishing in 59.38 seconds.Â
Â
Rashid Muse was the only other Viking competing Saturday, and showed his own improvement while setting a three-second personal best in the 800 meters. Muse ran the 800 in 2:04.14 Saturday, going well below his time of 2:07.22 at last week's NW Distance Jamboree.
