Portland State's two-game men's basketball series vs. Sacramento State, scheduled for Thursday and Saturday of this week, has been canceled due to COVID-19 testing protocols within Sacramento State's program.

The Hornets and Vikings were scheduled to play Thursday afternoon at The Hornets Nest, and Saturday afternoon in Viking Pavilion. At this time, Big Sky Conference basketball games that are canceled will not be rescheduled.

This marks the second week in a row that Portland State men's basketball has had games canceled due to testing protocols with opponents. The Vikings have played six games overall this season, but have now had seven canceled due to various issues.
 
PSU is scheduled to go on the road next week and play at Montana State on Jan. 14 and 16. Portland State's women's basketball games are not affected.
