PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland State track & field team announced the signing of 12 student-athletes Wednesday, giving the Vikings 19 signees overall in their 2017 recruiting class.

The Vikings signed seven athletes during the fall signing period, and are expected to add more in the coming months. The Vikings also signed 19 freshmen for their 2016 recruiting class, the first under head coach
Brent Ericksen who has reworked the team's roster in just under two years at the helm of the program.
