LONG BEACH, Calif. — The Portland State women's tennis team concluded the Beach Tennis Tournament Sunday with a pair of bonus doubles matches and five singles matches.
 
Sophomore newcomer Alli Valk continued her strong start to the fall season with a dominant win in singles. Valk dropped only five games combined while beating Taylor Valenzuela of Cal State Fullerton 6-3, 6-2.
 
Sophomores Brianna Thompson and Eszter Zador added another win for the Vikings in doubles, as they beat Flora Amiria and Vivien Dvali of UC Irvine 6-4.
 
The Vikings will continue their fall season at the WC Fall Invite next Saturday and Sunday in Walla Walla Wash.
