Up NextThe Portland State Vikings (10-30 overall, 3-9 Big Sky Conference) head to North Dakota (8-32, 0-12) for a three-game conference series. The series begins Friday, April 17 at 2 p.m. CT with a doubleheader. The series finale is slated for 1 p.m. CT on Saturday. This weekend will mark the final regular season road games for the Vikings as they finish out the season with eight-straight home games.Â

North Dakota   North Dakota enters play this week with the league's worst overall and conference marks. UND is 8-32 overall and 0-12 in Big Sky play this season. It opened the season 3-4 before going on an 11-game losing streak. After winning five-of-eight, UND has lost 14-straight games coming into the weekend.Â
   North Dakota has been swept in every conference series this season and has been out-scored 122-to-24 in conference games. In league play, UND is hitting .199 with a 10.78 ERA.Â
On the season, North Dakota is hitting .245 as a team while opponents are hitting .401. UND has been out-scored by nearly 200 runs this season. Shelby Hard leads the team with a .330 average. She leads the team with 37 hits, 23 runs scored, 31 runs batted in, and 12 home runs. Nicole Babrowski (.324), Jackie Lilek (.316), and Maria Dendinger (.313) are all hitting over .300 this season.Â
   The UND pitching staff has an 8.75 team ERA on the season. Hannah Bergh has thrown 103 2/3 innings on the season and has a 6.89 ERA with a 5-16 record.Â
Up NextThe Vikings return home next week to begin an eight-game home stand that will close out the regular season. They will host the Oregon State Beavers for a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday, April 21 beginning at 4 p.m. Portland State will then close out the season with home conference series with Montana (April 25-26) and Sacramento State (May 1-2).
