The Portland State Viking Athletic Program has announced Coke Zero as the title sponsor for the 2014 football season. Coke Zero will be featured in a season-long campaign to raise Viking football awareness.
Coke Zero will be sponsoring $5 Kids Tickets to every home game this season and the Coke Zero Kids Club. The $5 tickets will allow kids to sit anywhere in the stadium, except for one premium donor section. Any child aged 14 and under is eligible.
In addition to the Coke Zero Kids Club, fans over 18 have a chance to be a Coke Zero Big Kid as a limited section of the stadium will be reserved for fans 18 to 65 at the price of $10.
"Our Coke Zero Kids Clubs plan is designed to create a new generation of Viking fans and awareness in the Rose City," said Portland State Athletics Director Torre Chisholm. "$5 tickets for kids, including a giveaway, is the best deal in town."
Additional Viking football ticket information will be released later this week.
49ER GREATS CROSS, TAYLOR ADDED TO NFL LEGENDS GAME ROSTER
NFL greats Randy Cross and John Taylor, both of whom won multiple Super Bowl Championships with the San Francisco 49ers, will both be participating in the NFL Legends Game on
May 18th at Hillsboro Stadium.
Taylor, a two-time Pro Bowl selection who racked up over 40 career touchdown receptions playing opposite Jerry Rice in the late 80's, won three Super Bowls and was named to the 1980's All-Decade team.
Cross, meanwhile, was named to three Pro Bowls and won three Super Bowl Rings of his own as an offensive lineman before heading into the CBS broadcasting booth.
More players in the NFL Legends Game will be announced soon. Tickets to the event are on sale now.
