Sophomore first baseman
Brittany Hendrickson led the Vikings with a .571 average going 4-for-7 on the day while driving in a pair. Senior left fielder
Sadie Lopez leadoff for the first time in her career and went 3-for-8 with two runs scored and drove in a team-high three runs on the day.
Seattle scored all of its game one runs in the bottom half of the first inning when it plated seven. The Redhawks scored five runs off Vikings' starting pitcher
Raya Johnson who lasted just 1/3 inning. Brianna Guerrero drove Johnson from the game with a three-run home run. Johnson fell to 2-5 on the season with the loss.
Senior
Anna Bertrand came in relief and surrendered two more runs before getting the Vikings out of the inning. After that first inning, Bertrand allowed just four base runners and set down the Redhawks in order in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.
Becca Bliss led off the top of the third for the Vikings and was driven in two batters later by Hendrickson getting the Vikings their first run of the day. Lopez made the score 7-2 when she drove in
Carly McEachran in the top of the sixth.

Seattle quickly tied the game with a run in the bottom of the first off Vikings' game two starter,
Karyn Wright.
The Vikings had a runner in scoring position in each of the next two innings but could not push any more runs across until they plated four in the top of the fourth.
Alicia Fine reached on a fielding error to begin the inning. She was moved to second on a
Melissa Masters single.
Sadie Petersen loaded the bases with a five-pitch walk, bringing up Lopez.
Lopez singled up the middle to drive in both Fine and Masters and increase the Vikings' lead to 3-1. Two batters later Lopez came around to score when
Lauran Bliss reached on the second error of the inning by the Redhawks' shortstop. After Hendrickson reached on a fielders' choice,
Crysta Conn doubled in L. Bliss giving the Vikings a 5-1 lead.
Seattle added a run in the bottom of the sixth after back-to-back hits. The Redhawks loaded the bases with two outs before Wright got the final out of the inning to fly out to center field ending the threat.
After Seattle's leadoff hitter reached in the bottom of the seventh, the Vikings went to the bullpen bringing Johnson in to a save opportunity with one out. Johnson got the first batter she faced to fly out to center; she walked the next batter. A Viking error loaded the bases with two outs. Johnson then induced a grounder to Hendrickson at first who stepped on the bag for the final out of the game.
