2021 - REDSHIRT SENIOR SEASON
Appeared in 24 games making 24 starts… Missing the beginning of the season due to injury… Ranked second on the team with a .373 (28-75) batting average… Knocked five doubles, two triples and two home runs for a slugging percentage of .573… Drew five walks and recorded an on base percentage of .440 which ranked second on the team… Scored 16 runs… Was 1-2 on stolen base attempts… Recorded eight multi-hit games… Had a season-best five RBI at Southern Utah (4/10)… Had a five-game hit steak (5/1-5/15)… Made 39 putouts in center field… Committed two errors for a fielding percentage of .951… Second Team All-Big Sky outfield selection.

2020 - SENIOR SEASON
Started in all 14 games she was available… batted .310, with 13 hits in 42 at bats and scored 13 runs… had four doubles, two triples and four runs batted in… also had five bases on balls and four stolen bases… had a .400 on-base percentage and .500 slugging percentage… had 23 putouts, two assists and one error for a .962 fielding percentage… was 2-3 with a double against Utah State (2/14)… went 2-5 with a double, a run and an RBI in a win against Army (2/15)… was 2-3 with a double, two runs and two RBI in a win at UC Santa Barbara (2/28)… was 2-3 with three runs scored and a triple against Bradley (2/29)… earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference… maintains senior eligibility due to COVID-19-shortened season.

2019 - JUNIOR SEASON
Played in 26 games and started 25 of them… hit .375 with 30 hits, four doubles and 13 RBIs. She scored 10 runs, had a slugging percentage of .425 and an on-base percentage of .444… had three sacrifice hits and stole five bases without being caught. She also had a .971 fielding percentage… Made season debut as a pinch hitter against UNLV (2/23) and drew a walk… Made her first start against Northern Colorado (3/29) and recorded two hits and two RBIs… Went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs against Santa Clara (4/7)… Reached base safely in the final 18 games and recorded a hit in 17 of them… Went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored on the road against Montana (4/13)… Went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored at home against Southern Utah (4/19)… Had a perfect day at the plate against Southern Utah (4/20), going 3-for-3 and drawing a walk. She had two RBIs, a run scored and a stolen base as well… Had an RBI and a run scored against Weber State (5/3) in a loss at home… Went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a walk in an 11-inning win against Sacramento State at the Big Sky Championship… Had two RBIs and went 3-for-4 against Montana (5/9) at the Big Sky Championship.

2018 - SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in 51 games, making 50 starts, as a sophomore… Hit .266 with a .346 on base percentage and a .304 slugging percentage… Tallied 42 hits, 31 runs scored, and 16 runs batted in. Had a double, triple, and first career home run. Walked 15 times and a team-high 12 stolen bases… Recorded 10 multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games… Hit safely in 19-straight games during the season… Went 1-for-3 and scored twice, including the game-winning run in extra-innings to take the series from Weber State (4/28)… Scored twice going 1-for-3 with a walk in a win at Montana (4/21)… Extended her career-high hitting streak to 19 games (.400, 26x65, 16R, 12RBI, 2B, 3B, HR, 9BB, 6SB), going 1-for-2 with a walk at Oregon (4/3)… Went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two stolen bases against North Dakota (3/24)… Continued hitting streak with a single in her final at bat against North Dakota (3/23)… Went 2-for-2 with two walks and three-runs scored in the Vikings’ Big Sky opener win over North Dakota (3/23)… Extended hitting streak to 10 games, going 2-for-4 at Seattle (3/18)… Went 2-for-4 with two runs scored a triple and 3 RBIs against Bryant (3/17)… Hit first career home run and drove in a career-high 4 RBIs in a win over  Toledo (3/7)… Went 1-for-3 with two walks and a career-high three runs scored in a win over Toledo (3/7)… Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, an RBI, and a stolen base at UTEP (2/25)… Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the season opening win over San Houston State (2/9). 

2017 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in 44 games, making 39 starts, as a true freshman. Hit .296, going 34-for-115 with 11 runs scored and four driven in. Tallied four doubles. Walked eight times and went 8-for-10 in stolen base attempts… Went 2-for-4 with a run scored and double against Montana (4/22)… Went 3-for-3 with a double and a run scored at Weber State (4/15)… Went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI in a win over Northern Colorado (3/31)… Drove in two and scored twice, going 1-for-4 with a HBP at UNLV (3/12)… Drove in first career run, going 2-for-4, against Nevada (2/25)… Recorded first multi-hit game, going 2-for-2 with a double and a stolen base against San Jose State (2/24/17)… Made first career plate appearance against Murray State (2/10).    

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Played varsity softball all four years, basketball three years, and soccer one year at West Salem High School… Greater Valley Conference Player of the Year as a senior… Four-Time All-GVC First Team selection… Two-Time First Team All-State (junior and senior)… Nike Softball Player of the Year finalist as a junior… All-State Third Team as a sophomore, and Honorable Mention as a freshman… First Team All-League in basketball as a senior, Second Team as a junior, and Honorable Mention as a sophomore… Played for the NW Bullets (2014-16) and made it to the National TCS Championships in 2015.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Daughter of Ty and Erin Gunesch… has one sister, Riley… enjoys sports, art, photography, and traveling… aspires to work in the medical field.
