2016 (AS A JUNIOR)
• Earned Big Sky Spring All-Academic Honors.
• Hit .336 (51-for-152) with 22 runs scored, 10 RBIs, six doubles, and six walks. Recorded 15 multi-hit games, and three multi-RBI games.
• Went 3-for-4 with a run scored, an RBI, and a double against Montana (5/13) in the Big Sky Softball Tournament.
• Went 2-for-3 with a run scored, an RBI, and a double at Sacramento State (5/7).
• Went 1-for-2 with a double and a run scored before being ejected from the game against Utah Valley (5/4).
• Scored three runs, going 3-for-4 at Northern Colorado (4/23).
• Went 3-for-4 with a double and a run batted in against North Dakota (4/8).

2015 (AS A SOPHOMORE)
• Earned Big Sky Spring All-Academic Team and NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
• Started all 46 games she played, while hitting .333 (40-for-120) on the season. Scored 18 runs and drove in 13. Tallied five doubles, walked 13 times, and was hit by a pitch twice. Had a .407 on base percentage and a .375 slugging percentage.
• Had nine multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games.
• Finished the season with a three-game hitting streak.
• Matched career high with three hits and three RBIs, going 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, at North Dakota (4/17).
•Went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI at Seattle (4/1).
• Scored a career-high three runs, going 2-for-2 with a walk, at Weber State (3/27).
• Hit safely in four of the Vikings’ five games at the Wolf Pack Classic (3/13-15).
• Hit safely in all five games at the Long Beach Louisville Slugger Invitational (Feb. 27-March 1), going 5-for-15 with three runs, three RBIs, a double and a walk.

2014 (AS A FRESHMAN)
• Started the first 43 games of her freshman season at second base.
• Hit .230 (28-for-122) with two doubles and one home run. Drove in eight, scored 20 runs, walked nine times, and was hit by a pitch three times.
• Posted a career-high three hits, going 3-for-3 with a pair of runs and RBIs, against North Dakota (3/29) ...
• Went 2-for-4 with an RBI double at Cal State Northridge (3/2) ...
• Hit first career home run going 2-for-5 with a run scored and three RBIs against Hawai’i (2/15).
• Extended hitting streak to five games going 1-for-4 with two runs scored against BYU (2/14).
• Extended hitting streak to four games going 2-for-3 with a run scored against No. 24 California (2/9).
• Drove in two, going 2-for-4, against Indiana (2/7).
• Made first career start at second base in the Vikings’ season opener against Colorado State (2/7).
PRIOR TO PORTLAND STATE
• Nelson spent the fall term of 2013 at Oregon State before transferring to Portland State
• Four-year letterwinner in softball at Southridge High School.
• All-Metro League First Team selection as a senior as well as team Most Valuable Player.
• Metro League Player of the Year runner up in 2013.
• Two-Time All-Metro League Selection (sophomore, junior).
• Team won the Metro League championship in 2012.
• Played ASA softball for the Northwest Bullets under Tony Campos and Dennis Muir.
• Won the 16A State Championship while playing for the Oregon Blaze.
