2023 • SENIOR SEASON -- Missed the majority of the season due to injury... prior to the injury she appeared in five games, starting one in the circle... recorded a 1-0 record with a 4.08 ERA... struck out four batters in 12.0 innings pitched... earned her only win over Utah Valley (3/3) in a season-high 4.2 innings pitched... recorded two assists.

2022 • JUNIOR SEASON -- Made 12 appearances in the circle… made her only start of the season against Cal (2/19)… pitched 22.1 innings… finished the season with a 7.52 ERA and an 0-1 record… allowed 38 hits 24 earned runs and an opposing batting average of .380… struck out eight batters… had a season-high two strikeouts against Pacific (2/12)… pitched a season-high four innings at Oregon (3/11), allowing just one earned run… recorded a 1.000 fielding percentage.

2021 • SOPHOMORE SEASON -- Made 14 appearances in the circle… Tossed 23.1 innings… Recorded a 7.71 ERA and a 4-1 record… Allowed 35 hits and 20 earned runs… Struck out seven batters… Threw a season-high four innings at then-No. 8 Washington (3/14)… Tallied a season-high three strikeouts against Weber State (5/1)... Recorded a 1.000 fielding percentage.

2020 • FRESHMAN SEASON -- Pitched in four games with one start…threw 4.2 innings, compiling a 13.50 ERA...no eligibility used due to COVID-19-shortened season.
 

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE: Lettered in softball all four years at Warren High School.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Karla and Marco Gaona … has two brothers, Nathaniel and Cruz … enjoys volunteering time with recreational youth softball teams … majoring in applied health and fitness with a minor in sociology.
