City Section record … Earned first team All-CIF Los Angeles City Section honors and was named the West Valley League Pitcher of the Year as a junior after going 24-4 with a 0.84 ERA and 185 strikeouts in 174 innings as a junior ... Also named second team All-Area by the Daily News ... Pitched 11 shutouts and two no-hitters in 2011 ... Rated the 28th best pitcher in the state and 74th best in the nation by MaxPreps.com ...
